Throughout the year, staff, board members and volunteers at West Roxbury Main Streets organize a variety of events to help raise money for our programs. Fundraising events allow community members to get involved, to donate money and to have a good time.

This year's fundraising events are:

TDini on Tour - Join us for another night of board member Tom Dougherty behind the bar.  All donated tips support our revitalization efforts.  Join us again this fall!

Kentucky Derby Party - Join us as we celebrate this classic race with Kentucky's and our own Joni Walter.  The Derby will be on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 with the main race to start just after 5pm. The best bash in town!

Pitching In ~ WRMS on the Mound to Support Community Revitalization and Fight Cancer - On Thursday, June 19th, join us at Game On on Lansdowne Street to support two great causes, WRMS and The Jimmy Fund.

West Roxbury Main Streets in Bloom - Spend an evening in the best garden in town, the Mt. Vernon Street home of Nancy Kressin and John Derbort.  Food provided by Sabra.

Parkway Holiday House Tour– On December 7th from 2pm - 5pm, join us for a special shopping event at Holy Name followed by a trolley tour of seasonly decorated houses.  Tickets are $20 or $25 the day of the event.

Sponsor a Snowflake– Help make our business district during the winter by sponsoring one of our 60 snowflakes located on Centre Street.  Sponsorships are $300 per snowflake. Call the WRMS office for more info and a sponsorship form.

  

Boston Community Change

Pitching In

West Roxbury Main Streets will host Pitching In ~ WRMS on the Mound to Support Community Revitalization & Strike Out Cancer at Game On, 82 Lansdowne Street next to historic Fenway Park on June 19th from 6:30pm - 9:30pm.  All proceeds, which are tax deductible from the event support West Roxbury Main Streets' revitalization efforts and to help The Jimmy Fund ~ Dana Farber Cancer Institute fight childhood and adult cancers.
